Sara Merida

Sara Mérida is an illustrator based in Madrid, Spain. After studying Digital Animation she followed that by working for a year at the Lighting Department in Ilion Animation Studios. During this year she learned a lot about the light and the color and how much you can transmit through them. After this experience, she decided to widen her competences and capacities for becoming an illustrator, so she studied a master's in this discipline. Her area of expertise is editorial and publicity illustration, being both areas an immense world for creativity and personal development. Her main source of inspiration so far are women. She loves to create female, empowered and challenging characters, always pursuing beauty and elegance through forms and expressions.
