Taylan Kurtulus Taylan Kurtulus was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1980. At the age of twelve he started going to a comic's school named "Carsaf". When he was fourteen, his first work was published in Avni Comic’s Magazine.
In his early twenties he worked as a freelance cartoonist for many comic magazines in Turkey. He moved to New Jersey in the year of 2000 and works as an Illustrator and Comic book artist.
