Bubble Doll

Gwen Lee aka Bubble Doll is a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Her journey in Graphic Design started with creating graphics for corporate identities. Gwen subsequently became involved in creative projects with Companies and Organisations. This included the redesigning of the global image, visual presentation, marketing and graphics for ISSNIP in conjunction with Melbourne University.

After the success of ISSNIP, Gwen created her own independent label Bubble Doll. Bubble Doll is Gwen’s Creative Design Studio that encompasses her own creative works and works for clients to build and strengthen their visual presentation with Graphic Design and Illustration. Bubble Doll illustrations are cute, quirky, fun and cartoon like reflecting on Gwen’s own imagination and personality. The cultural influence is a combination of Japanese kitsch and other Asian cultural influences. Gwen’s illustrations are also influenced by trance, techno, lounge, drum and bass and trip hop music.
