Alessandro Vene Alessandro Vene was born in Florence in 1979 and so got his inspiration from the classic art and prop of the city.
He started working at the age of sixteen and then decided to go back to school when he was 24, Alessandro studied at the art college of Florence (liceo artistico di Firenze), then studied in the Accademia di Belle arti di Firenze, (where Michelangelo's David is), Alessandro has a degree in both set design and illustration. He specialises in pencil, pens and acrylic painting. In the last few months Alessandro has brought a wacom tablet pen and is experimenting with digital painting. Alessandro has worked as a set designer for the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and has worked on the "Senza sapere" and "Vite futuriste" movies. Alessandro is usually found working for Mark TV & Communication, Bottega cinema, and Vallina studios as a set designer. He has worked on many commercials for clients such as Disney and Warner Bros,
As Alessandro is moving to the USA he has decided to start working as a freelance illustrator. His passions in life are movies, fine art, and really good food. |
